Community Covenant hosts several weekly Zoom events aimed at exploring ways to apply our faith to the issues of today.
Racial Righteousness Book Group | Saturdays, 9:30 AM: Community Covenant hosts a regular reading group dedicated to learning about issues of racial injustice. The group is currently reading “Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation”, by Latasha Morrison. Contact Alicia Petersen if you would like to join at email@example.com.
Children’s Sunday School at Home: Community Covenant has provided home materials for families with children from preschool to 3rd grade. Parents will receive an All of Us story Bible and corresponding curriculum specifically developed for families to use at home. The story Bible contains all of the Bible stories for the coming academic year. Our sermons in the fall will follow the same stories–so you will be learning the same things as your children! Contact Ruth Kendrick with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Adult Sunday School | Sundays, 9 AM: Julia McClusky leads our Adult Sunday School at 9 AM over Zoom. The class is exploring the book of Mark and its lessons for everyday life. For more information, contact Julia McClusky with questions at email@example.com.
Junior Youth Class (Grades 4-8) | most Sundays, 10:00 AM: While children and youth are more than welcome in our service, we find many youths enjoy and benefit from Sunday classes designed specifically for them. Please contact Beth Gabel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
