This fall, adult Sunday School will be studying the 7 churches outlined in Revelation chapter 1 to 3 with teachers Becky and Rob Ericson. It will be a spirited discussion of early church characteristics and applications for today. The class begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary each Sunday.
Child-Workers Meeting
If you assist with children’s ministry, please join us after church on Sunday, September 16th for a brief meeting. This includes Sunday School teachers, children’s church volunteers, and nursery workers. If you are not able to make this meeting, please contact Julie Roberts.
Sunday Morning Time Change
On September 9th, Community Covenant returns to its Sunday “school year” schedule. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. Worship follows at 11:00 a.m.

Just War?
Join us in adult Sunday School on May 27th and June 3rd as we consider the various Christian responses to conflict and the ideas behind “just war.” Adult Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the church sanctuary.

Sunday School Packing Party, 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School classes of all ages will combine to pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Bring small trinkets to put into shoe boxes or a completed shoe box gift. Classes will pack and wrap the boxes, include personalized letters and prepare the boxes to be shipped. (If you cannot bring your box to the packing party, you are welcome to bring it directly to worship).
Combined Worship Service, 11:00 a.m.
A worship service featuring musicians and participants from Community Covenant Church and the Hanbit Church. Pastor Devyn will give the sermon in English, with Korean subtitles on the screen. There will be a time of common mission and prayer, as both congregations dedicate shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Potluck Lunch, 12:15 p.m.
Both congregations will join in a meal together after worship. Please bring a “favorite family dish” to share.
Fall Sunday School
Regular Sunday School classes began Sunday, September 18th at 9:30 a.m. and continue through the fall. Adults meet in the sanctuary. The youth class meets in the kitchen. The preschool class meets downstairsin the north classroom. The elementary class meets downstairs in the south classroom. Join us!
