An informal time of prayer will be at the church on Saturday, July 13th. You may arrive at 7:30 p.m., prayer will begin at 8:00 p.m.
There will be a group watching the service in the church sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. All are welcome to join!
Whether or not you can attend, you can watch Pastor Devyn’s ordination service LIVE online? Go to www.covchurch.org and follow the directions on the page to “Watch Annual Meeting Events.” The service is Saturday, June 29th at 7:00 p.m. The ordination prayers and commitments will be at the end of the service. If you miss the live broadcast, a recording will be posted to the same site, likely within a few days.
Mark your calendars for the annual church-wide picnic on Sunday, June 16th at 11:15 a.m. It will be held in the church’s picnic grove with games and activities on the lawn. Sign-up lists for food and supplies will be available at the church soon. See Leslie Rowley for more details.
Community Covenant will be celebrating the sacrament of baptism on Sunday, June 9th with a special service. Worship will be at Hunt Valley Pool, next door to the church. You are welcome to park at the church and walk over or park in the pool’s parking lot.

You are invited to continue the tradition of wearing red for worship on Pentecost Sunday, May 19th. Red symbolizes the Spirit who came like tongues of fire on the disciples in the upper room and who fills God’s church today with life and joy.
The book group will meet on May 12th at 6:00 pm at church to discuss “Love Wins” by Rob Bell. We will provide a light supper, probably pizza or sandwiches. Call Becky Ericson for more information.
May 4th, 8:00-12:00 is the yard sale for Women Ministries. Volunteers are needed to help set up (6:30 – 7:30), man the tables, clean up (12:00) and bring items that were not sold to Salvation Army. If you have items to donate bring them to the church on Friday May 3rd.
A Good Friday service of Tennabrae (meaning “shadows”) will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. A light meal of soup and bread will be at 6:30 p.m.
