Thank You Brownie Troop 480! – On Monday, June 2, Brownie Troop 480 (which has been meeting in our building for several years) held their End of Year Closing Ceremony.  During their fund raising efforts through the year, they raised about $200.  The troop, about 15 girls, decided to donate $100 to Community Covenant Church in appreciation of their building use, and knowing some of our building events this year.  Paul Seguin was invited to the ceremony and to receive the donation.  He congratulated the troop for their year and thanked them for the gift, promising to apply it to our pending purchase of a replacement furnace.  As an example of the awareness of these 2nd/3rd grade girls, during the presentation one of the girls piped up from the audience to ask whether we had recovered from last week’s basement flooding.  Many thanks to Brownie Troop 480.
