Announcments for November 16

Next Sunday Together – Next Sunday, Community Covenant and the Hanbit Church, the two congregations who share this building, will join together in worship at 11:00 a.m. After worship we will join for a combined meal in the church fellowship hall. Sign up to bring a dish on the list near the church office or contact Martha Reitman.

Lunch Together – Join a group for lunch after worship next Sunday, November 16th. They will be going to Sheba’s Ethiopian Restaurant, 3900 Pickett Road, Fairfax. Meet up after worship, see Martha Reitman for more information.
Children’s Church Volunteers – Help teach our children! Teachers and assistants are needed for children’s church which meets during the second half of the worship service. Volunteers commit to one Sunday a month. Speak with Pastor Devyn or Ruth Kendrick to learn more.

Thanks Giving – Two opportunities to give are coming this November. Until November 23rd we will be collecting cans of fruit (fruit of any kind will do) for the Thanksgiving baskets given to the families served by Rising Hope Mission. On November 16th we will be collecting “shoe box gifts” for Operation Christmas Child. Boxes and directions for filling them will be handed out in worship in the coming weeks.
