Lions, Tigers and Bears! – People of all ages are welcome for a trip to the zoo! Saturday, November 8th at the National Zoo in D.C. Meet at the “picnic pavilion” near the farm and parking lot “D” at 10:00 a.m. Running late? Contact Pastor Ryan at 773.895.7186 and you can catch up with the group. Need a ride or more information? New Look for the Sanctuary – Plans are underway to have the sanctuary reoriented and rearranged for the start of Advent. A diagram of the new set up will be posted in the back of the sanctuary, and comments and suggestions are welcome. Contact Pastor Devyn or Becky Ericson for more information.

Mark Your Calendars – On November 23rd, CCC and the Hanbit Church, the Korean-speaking congregation with whom we share a building, will join together for worship at 11:00 a.m. A combined meal will follow. More details will be coming soon.

Thanks Giving – Two opportunities to give are coming this November. Until November 23rd we will be collecting cans of fruit (fruit of any kind will do) for the Thanksgiving baskets given to the families served by Rising Hope Mission. On November 16th we will be collecting “shoe box gifts” for Operation Christmas Child. Boxes and directions for filling them will be handed out in worship in the coming weeks.
