For All the Saints – In worship on November 2nd, CCC will remember “All Saints Day” and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Paul Carlson. Dr. Carlson was killed 50 years ago this fall while serving as a Covenant missionary in the Congo. A special offering benefitting mission work in the Congo will be collected. Individuals are also encouraged to bring an unframed photo of loved one(s) who have passed away to the service. We will remember all those in “the great cloud of witnesses” and worship Christ who is the resurrection and the life.
Lions, Tigers and Bears! – People of all ages are welcome for a trip to the zoo! Saturday, November 8th at the National Zoo in D.C. Meet at the “picnic pavilion” near the farm and parking lot “D” at 10:00 a.m. Running late? Contact Pastor Ryan at 773.895.7186 and you can catch up with the group. Need a ride or more information?
